How you can help

There are so many ways you can help us to support unpaid carers:

  • Hold your own Lunch in the Garden to raise funds for us

  • Volunteer for the Charity

  • Become a Trustee

  • Join our fundraising committee and help organise our events

  • Sponsor our events

  • Make sure your workplace is carer friendly

  • Simply raise awareness of unpaid carers and all that they do

  • Keep attending and supporting our events

  • Follow us and share our content on social media

Other ways to give

Become a Charity partner – ongoing relationships with small charities can bring a range of benefits to local businesses

Donate in memory - donating or arranging a collection in memory of someone special is a positive way to remember them and celebrate their life

Donate in celebration - if you are celebrating this year, asking for donations instead of gifts is a really inspiring way for family and friends to mark your special occasion

Leave a legacy - gifts in wills, however big or small, help us to plan for the future

Fundraise for us – sponsored challenges such as bike rides, runs or walks are a fun way to raise awareness as well as much needed funding

Caring knows no boundaries.

It is not restricted by age, gender, ethnicity or social circumstances – it can happen to anyone, at any time. In fact three in five of us will become a carer at some point in our lives.  Carers save the economy over £119bn each year. Yet, they are frequently invisible within their communities and their important role is often not well understood or recognised.
